NEW ADDED CLASSROOMS OPEN DOORS

HMCHA is proud to celebrate the opening of a new 5th and 6th grade classroom addition at our primary school in the rural Ethiopian village of Ketaba. Completed just in time for the new school year, the addition welcomed students in September 2025 and marks an important milestone for our growing school community.

For many children in Ketaba, continuing beyond the lower primary grades was once out of reach. This new space allows students to stay in school longer, build critical skills, and dream bigger about their futures. By expanding the existing building, HMCHA is helping more impoverished Ethiopian children gain access to a consistent, quality education close to home.

The total cost of the project was $30,000, made possible entirely through the generosity of our supporters. HMCHA extends heartfelt thanks to every donor who contributed to this effort. Your kindness has created lasting impact—one classroom, one student, and one future at a time.
